How do you make fan art like those on the World of Warcraft website?

    Most (but not all) use digital art programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or Corel Painter. All of these cost money and require some degree of artistic skill to start with. Some popular free programs are Gimp and ArtRage. The artists most likely use a drawing tablet such as this one but there are several brands and sizes available.
    Some even use a combination of traditional media (oils, pastels, pencils) and the digital programs.
    The bottome line is it takes a practiced hand and a lot of patience. Should you decide to pursue these art programs I wish you lots of luck!
